WHAT We have developed a series of high-performance billet camshafts for your Holden V6 SIDI engine. Designed to deliver real-world horsepower and torque gains, our SIDI cams won't compromise the drivability of your vehicle like some cams can. You are provided with four brand new billet camshafts, so there is no need for change-over or deposit and we have packages to suit every model and transmission. This package provides power gains up to 30rwkw from 1500rpm to redline. Power keeps climbing as the rev limiter range is increased which means even greater power gains can be achieved. This increase has been achieved without sacrificing any noticeable low-end torque or drivability. Despite the excellent performance characteristics of this package, the engine remains tractable and responsive at low speed. These cams have been designed to be used with the standard valve springs and engine components, so you are not required to replace any other engine components. HOW The camshaft is one of the most vital components inside your engine, controlling when and how the intake and exhaust valves open and close inside your cylinder heads directly affecting not only how much power you make, but where in the rev range it does it. By altering key attributes to camshaft design we've been able to offer a series of camshafts that provide maximum drivability and economy, whilst also offering up to 30rwkw power gains. This cam package can be fitted by any good mechanic and we have made installation even easier by loaning out our installation tool in conjunction with fitting instructions for the job. Mercedes B Class F-Cell Hydrogen launched
Fri, 28 Aug 2009Mercedes has announced the Hydrogen-Powered B-Class F-Cell The B Class F-Cell will go in to limited production later this year, and be leased to 200 customers in Europe and the US. The electric motor on the F-Cell is reckoned to be comparable to a 2.0 litre petrol car, but can manage the equivalent of 86.6 mpg. But it doesn’t suffer from the drawbacks of plug-in electric cars, taking just 3 minutes to refuel.

Toyota, Daihatsu's parent company, bought a 9% shareholding in Subaru's parent company in 2005. So the Daihatsu Sirion 1.0 is an obvious donor car; its £7500 starting price and 57mpg stretch the Subaru range down to a whole new budget marketplace.

Vauxhall has revealed the updated Insignia for 2014 that gets a decent raft of changes, both cosmetically and under the skin, to make it better to live with and more economical. Sensibly, Vauxhall has cut the bewildering range of Insignia trim levels from 14 to eight (do they need even that many?), with Design Trim at the bottom and Elite trim at the top, and the new Insignia Design starting at £16,279 – £3500 less than the old Insignia ES.
